About the Cherokee Triangle

The Cherokee Triangle is an amazing place to live for those of us lucky enough to be here. It pretty much has everything you could ever want. Close to Cherokee Park, Bardstown Road and all of its fine restaurants and shops, and downtown Louisville, Cherokee Triangle manages to remain a cozy little hamlet in the middle of pretty much everything.

If you like trees, well-preserved older homes, great neighbors, good nearby schools, and a little quiet with easy access to all the city has to offer, then you’ll love the Cherokee Triangle. And as the association, we intend to keep it that way.

Did we mention that every year we hold an awesome art fair and a summer concerts series?

Historic Preservation

Cherokee Triangle is one of seven preservation districts located in the Louisville Metro. These areas were established to preserve Louisville Metro's past architectural and historic integrity. Exterior property changes within the Preservation Districts must be approved by the Landmarks Commission staff or Architectural Review Committee (ARC) and meet design guidelines BEFORE work is done. Landmarks Commission Staff is there to help. Please call (502) 574-6230.
